Traffic import notes:
Requires Unity 5 or higher + PlayMaker

#1 - create a new 3d project in Unity
#2 - open Asset store inside Unity (Window>Asset Store)
#3 - import PlayMaker
#4 - import Traffic asset

When importing in existing project make a Backup of your files!
There will be New Project Settings needed to function.

* SIMPLE assets need to be imported. Modular Traffic pack will hold prefab setups only, no recourses from Simple assets (models, textures etc.).

Thank you for comments! Had fun doing it, now working on the car asset to fit together.

Updated the first post, road 3d models are available, later can update to traffic pack.

Changes:
- Made it easier to import
- Fixed missing links

I tried the simple demo from thread with cars and pedestrians and they are all crashing into each other.

Hi, I have noticed that they can stuck eventually, I didn't pay attention in this case because now it is set somewhere in the middle mixing physical and non-physical driving to preview both logics. The non-physical drive was made for distance to save performance and is more robust than close-up physical driving. These mode switching can cause this, originally the logic was made for physical behaviour.

I use this asset for 3rd person game with Pooling system where I spawn and despawn AIs around a player, so chance of traffic crashes are really low, not like in the demo as cars and people move around non-stop.

Send me a message if I can help assist you to adjust the asset for your game requirements.

v1.1.2
Car counter per lane fix, changes:
- Edit on CarWP_Group template.
- Edit on AI_Cars scene object.
- New FSM on AI_Car prefab.
- Edit on AI_Car FSM Movement/Waypoints Setting Tags on Left turns.

A quick note:
Now PlayMaker 1.8.1 have Animator actions included by default, if you are importing the asset in Unity 5.3+ with PM 1.8.1+ uncheck the Animator folder to avoid duplicate errors.

Just want to know that does the traffic system should be used only with the given or provided city assets with the package or we can use the FSM provided with your package with any characters or cars of our choice ??

Yes sure, logic is separate so you can change pedestrians/cars/roads with other models.
For pedestrians they are humanoid NavMesh agents with Animator.
Change mesh for cars and adjust some parts for the new vehicle (wheels, AI look objects, obstacle radius).
If you make your own (or change) modular roads, you can put the same logic on top of it. Or if you use EasyRoads or other roads that are not regular, you still can use the same logic just need to adjust waypoints accordingly. Attached a preview screenshot.

^ Disregard this quoted message, as now Unity import automatically detects the duplicates and ignore them, so import All as before.

I'm new here, so sorry if I wrote the wrong place. I already have the PlayMaker license and am considering getting the license Modular Traffic, but I wonder if I can change the textures of roads, because in my country there are color differences?

Hello,

Yes you can change the look of every road piece, each have its own texture file exported from Illustrator (originals included) and also there are UV frames, so you can draw textures from scratch.

I will submit updated version to Asset Store today to be ready for Unty2017, if anyone needs it sooner contact me on support email or personal message on forums with your invoice number.

For now follow these steps for current imports on Playmaker 1.8.5 + Unity 2017:
1. Delete action “AnimatorIsControlled”.
2. Delete action “GetSignedAngleToTarget”, download and re-import the action “GetSignedAngleToTarget” from Ecosystem.
3. Change Agent actions for Pedestrian prefab in Walk FSM like in the screenshot, but for the “Agent Stop” state set “Is Stopped” to True.
