Title: Appstore Submit for Review
Post by: CiaranD on September 11, 2015, 07:03:00 AM
Hey folks,

First time poster here. Just finished my first game and was about to submit for approval in iTunes Connect when was asked the export compliance question.

I used Playmaker in the app and was wondering if it uses any kind of encryption that I would need to answer yes to?

A little about my game - It is a really simple single player game. I'm not storing any information on servers with the exception of incorporating Game Centre and having a leaderboard (using iOS Native). I have a few PlayerPrefs. I have a few links to websites/facebook but no data transfer. So I think I can answer no, however I'm unsure about whether Unity or Playmaker encrypt any other data.

Any help would be much appreciated! Also, thanks Hutong Games for making playmaker!! It's made things so much easier!

Hi,

You'll be fine answering no in your case. Unity and PlayMaker are not encrypting data ( Unity may, but that will be a deal between Unity and xCode, you should be concerned about this).

 Good luck with your game!

 Bye,

 Jean
