Title: Capture Pose As Animation Clip
Post by: Alex Chouls on February 22, 2012, 12:00:21 AM
[NOTE] Action is now officialy part of the PlayMaker Package, no need to download it from there.

Captures the current pose of a hierarchy as an animation clip.

Useful to blend from an arbitrary pose (e.g. a ragdoll death) back to a known animation (e.g. idle).

Store the created animation clip in an Object Variable set to UnityEngine.AnimationClip type.

You can then add this animation clip to an object using Add Animation Clip, give it a name, and play it with Play Animation.

Hi Alex/Jean,

Can this action be updated to make the new animation clip set to "Legacy"? Currently it doesn't work in Unity 5

Is it action works in Unity 5.6.3?
Trying to save pose in ragdoll and Add Animation clip and than Play Animation, not working.

Or in Unity 5 other ways for transition from ragdoll to animation?

Hi,

I was waiting for feedback on this, as it was blind coding, so I guess it's not working. If you have a test scene you can share, I'll have a look and test it.

 Bye,

 Jean
