Hi,

 Yes, you'll be fine. The Oculus has premade prefabs that makes it a plug and play device within Unity.

Yes, I use Playmaker 1.8.3 in Unity 5.4 with Oculus Rift CV1, and it works awesome. Playmaker changed my career path to game developer, and Rift changed it to VR game developer.

That was made before I implemented Oculus Touch controls using this asset:

FrameTale Studios made an asset store kit that contains all the Oculus Touch playmaker actions we need. I was able to test them, and they work, and I'm implementing touch controls right now in my VR game. Get the pack on the asset store!
