Title: Spiraloid (100% PlayMaker!)

Hey guys,

I just launched my first game Spiraloid on iOS today!

I was just doing my Thursday Morning research on Touch Arcade and to my pleasant surprise... I saw a trailer for a game I swore I saw before... I know! That's a Playmaker game!!

Awesome stuff... well done... I wish you glorious success!

Thanks guys,

It's going very well so far. It was featured today in 147 countries which is great. Unfortunately I missed out on a feature in the US and China app stores but it's still a great result.

This has been many years in the making, I first picked up PlayMaker in 2011 and have been learning and making prototypes ever since. After creating around 7 prototypes (a couple that were quite far along in production) I decided mid last year that I had to put my head down and get busy on a game that I can actually finish!

After playing a bunch of super casual games I decided to work on an endless runner since it would be the quickest to implement.

I'm going to write a full post mortem sometime soon which I hope will give other developers some valuable insight into my creative process  :-)
