Close Forum access for illegal users. It's good motivation to buy this "BrilliantMaker" and it will be spam-free. Also, I think $65 is so cheap for this great product.
I don't know possibly we can open forum only for the view but not for registration. Imho.
And the last one - Is there a thread for volunteers? I think we can help Playmaker Devs doing volunteer job.

I am not sure about the closed forum part. But as for the volunteering, what it seems like the forum always needs is
1. People to answer questions
2. People to write custom actions
3. People to make unity assets compatible with playmaker (see trello for requests).
All of these can be done without signing up necessarily. Basically just browse the forums and answer when you can, make actions when you can, and release asset playmaker packages when you can.
The forum has been spammed a bit lately it seems, but I am sure they will work something out. Did you have anything else in mind?

Hi,
"illegal" users are spams, and we are trying to address these, but because of the traffic, forums like this one are subject to hacking a lot, so simply ignore, these spams are a pain but not a threat, and I do clean the forum up every day ( we have few spams per day basically).
There is no closed forum or private forum, anyone can register, and volunteer work is always welcome :)
you do need to sign up to answer questions, you can not post without signing up.

Also, just a note on this fruit vs Mandarin vs Chinese apparent tension: We have enough trouble with real spam and hackers, please be cool, this forum is a place for discussing purely about PlayMaker and Unity, let's keep it that way :) This forum is truly international and so let's just make everyone feel confortable here, keep a positive spirit and stay on topic for everyone to enjoy spending time here, thanks :)

My dear administration I don't want to see those porn russians spams every day when I visit here, so I affirm to CLOSE registration for spamers!

I think what the Opsive forums does is a good idea- you must submit your invoice# for the asset to register http://opsive.com/forum/ (http://opsive.com/forum/)
Seems to keep all the spam out and makes for a nice and helpful forum atmosphere-

Hi,
well, the problem is that we have reached critical mass and we can't really do that. If you check the forum stats, you'll see have around 500 registration per month... we can manually handle all these, this would be a lot of work indeed. that's 25 registration per working day... they have 50-100 per month, which is 2 per day, a lot more manageable.
but yeah we need to do something, Cleaning up everyday also takes a lot of time...
