Title: "Acting Kindly" app/game...Spreading Kindness
Post by: gregacuna on September 13, 2017, 02:19:54 AM
We've been working on something rather different using Unity and Playmaker. It's an app/game called "Acting Kindly" now out for both Android and iOS. In Quest Mode it's an app which allows users to draw kindness cards from different decks, keep them in their quest list and share on Facebook when they’ve completed any of their missions.

In Game Mode is an incredibly fun and unique multiplayer, totally cooperative, experience where small teams run around in public doing acts of kindness and funny deeds to bring joy to others. The app/game empowers people of all ages to spread kindness, interact with strangers and make the world a better place.

It can be downloaded using these links:

Google Play Store - Android: https://goo.gl/QzNwa4
Apple App Store - iOS: https://goo.gl/7TiJqQ

Here's a video showing how it works: https://goo.gl/fwhnZS

Hope many of you will try it out, share it with others and start spreading kindness all over the world. Cheers!

Does it only support the Ios?
It is a multiplayer game, it is good when it is going to play on PC.

Brilliant concept! I'll give it a whirl.

Thanks Graham for trying it out. We're actually in the middle of making some changes to the app which should go live in the next 10 days or so. The old Android version is still on the Play Store, but the iOS is down for development reasons.

@CarmaSmitherman there won't be any PC version because this is a game which is played out in public. In the game the teams are running around interacting with strangers. It's an amazing experience.

FYI we have released a printed card version for schools (Acting Kindly @School) and we are hoping to have a Kickstarter campaign for a printed version of the original Acting Kindly game which can be played by anyone/anywhere!
