Title: Play Sound (with a delay)
Post by: NinjaX on September 30, 2017, 06:30:33 PM
Super random sorry, but I was just thinking it would be convenient to have the PLAY SOUND action come with a delay if possible ?

Sometimes you need the sound clip to start in that state, that, say is 2 seconds long but you need the .5 audio clip to start at like .75 seconds or something like that. That was a specific example lol

Im just asking for a friend ...

Hi,
I can't really find something on the unity documents/forum on how to do this.
If you find some scripts let me know so i could convert it to an action.

If it is something that can be related to any variable (name of the enemy, sound clip, whatever), why not simply use wait before playing the clip?

Hi,

simply have a dedicated Fsm that receives a global event "PLAY SOUND DELAYED" and call that event, then the fsm implements a wait of x seconds and then play the sound.

 Bye,
