Title: Tap to Move - Not Moving
Post by: SammyJoeUK on December 16, 2017, 03:09:17 AM
Hi Guys,

I'm having trouble getting my character to move as explained in the Touch Info Youtube Tutorial I've followed this tutorial through to the letter (https://youtu.be/08VQPzDLNMk?t=24m2s) and my character is not moving at all.

I've rewatched the section on Tap to Move several times to see if I'm missing anything but I'm certain it's correct, yet I'm still not getting any movement when testing on an Android device.

Please help!

S.

Can you show us your FSM?

Which part of your FSM is failing?

Do you have any errors in the console?

Apologies! Was meant to do this last time. There's currently no errors in the console and this is the FSM that's not working in full.

I dont see anything off hand that looks incorrect. Sure you got the right layer?

When the FSM fires, which state does it stop at? Did you try using break points? Then you can know which state is the problem.

Here is a video on debugging. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tFXvgNePUUY&t=440s

I've not been able to find any issue while debugging. This is REALLY confusing me! :(

Hi,

Can you share the scene you are working on as a package? I'll have a look.

 Bye,
