Title: [Request] inventory system tutorial (using arrayMaker?)

so im about to have to make an inventory system with picking up loot, changing gear on the character etc but i have never touched arrays before and have no idea how they work =(

It would take too much time for me to stumble around and try and figure it out myself, as im on a tight schedule (graduation project at school)

Any help on this would be greatly appriciated

In the array maker samples there is an inventory scene - take a look.

It's pretty simple if you understand playmaker/arraymaker.

Hi,

 if you have ngui, there is also a far more complete inventory system ready made actually in the examples.

Hi again Jean, unfortunately I dont use NGUI, i might have to buy it at some point though!

Hi Jean - I finally got around to buying NGUI and im interested in having a look at this inventory example :) can you point me towards where i can donwload it? I downloaded the ngui example from the wiki but that seems to be a quest tracker of sorts

hi,

 yes, the scene is "Example X", there is a whole inventory framework in there. for example look at the gameObject "ItemDatabase"

I am new to play maker. I have read about this NGUI and arrayMaker inventory systems. Is there a tutorial someone can point me to for these? Especially one for using NGUI with play maker?

I also have NGUI but I cannot find the Example X with the inventory example.

on trello i see 2 boards addons and samples,i have access to addons but not samples, the example x project is on samples what shall i do create a new card in addons

 You can create cards yes. Then people can vote up and we'll see what emerge as making sense to spend time on.
