Title: WP8 Addon impact
Post by: brainchest on December 26, 2013, 07:58:00 AM
Hi All,

I wonder what adding the WP8 Addon into an existing PlayMaker project will have. The reason I'm asking is that when I try to import the Addon, I can see that PlayMaker dlls will be overridden. Does that mean that my project will only work under WP8 after the addon is enabled? Or does it still work on all other platforms but with some restrictions only (like Photon networking)? Can I add the Windows Store addon when it's available?

Regards,
Stephan

Hi,

swapping dll doesn't affect your project, only compilation for compliance. So apart from iTween, photon bridge ( which is currently in beta to work on this platform, because photon works on all platforms) and few other missing libraries ( I think camera is not implemented within Unity itself for Windows Store and Windows Metro, but it may have been implemented since, not sure).

 Bye,
