Playmaker Announcements / Re: Playmaker for Unity 2017

I don't think Visual Scripting is a high priority for the Unity Developers.

Plus, they keep featuring PlayMaker in the asset store. Pretty much anyone who interacts with the Unity community knows what PlayMaker is, and there doesn't seem to be much competition.

I think PM is 'safe' for a very long time. :)

That's an awesome deal. I bought it at $29 and still feel it's totally worth it.

Awesome! Thanks!

I'll have to try that out when I get my multi-monitor set up going.

Work In Progress... / Interstate '76 Re-Make
« on: July 11, 2016, 10:34:38 PM »
Hey everyone,

I decided to put up a WIP post for my game project to help keep me motivated and get feedback.

I am re-making a game from 1997 called 'Interstate '76', where you drive around in 70's muscle cars with weapons on them.

I am using 600's car set-up as a base, with some modifications.

Here's what I have so far:
- Vehicle Selection screen that lets you choose the vehicle, what engine you want, and what weapons to put on the various weapon attach points.

- Each weapon is controlled individually with number keys

- Player can select a V6, V8 or V10 engine, which affects their top speed and acceleration

Here is a video I shot a few days ago. I have made progress since then:

That looks really awesome! Kind of like GTA in reverse.

What car controller are you using, if you don't mind me asking?
