Hi Jean,

my post "september 30 4:47:51 PM" was the right solution for my problem.
hope it will help others...

Thanks for your input.
I will look into Linker Wizard and actions from the ecosystem :-)

ok it looks like i get rid of errors (red circles on playmaker states) and that it works in Build when i do that :
- add a "Mouse Pick 2d Event" Action in the state
- replace System transition/event (Mouse Over, Mouse Exit...) with custom ones, like "MousePick2DEvent_Over" for example.

I'll will add more details to this post if i understand new stuff about this problem ...
Or if it stops working ;-)

Thanks a lot for your answer  :)

I do use Get/Set Property actions !
Building for PC/Mac Standalone
Please find screenshots attached (grouped in Photoshop)
I can create more images if you want !

I'm working on a 2D game. (playmaker 1.8.4, Unity 5.6.1)
A Lot of my animated 2D(sprite)Game-Objects have to respond to MouseOver Event.
They all have a 2D-Collider-component set as trigger. And often have 2 FSM.

It works like a charm in Unity Editor, even if states with Mouse-Over transitions display a warning and I've got lots of "owner needs a collider or GUI Element to respond to mouse events!" errors in my error check window.
(all objects have 2D-Collider-component set as trigger though !)

Unfortunately it does not work in the Build.

- Any idea to have it work in Build ?
- how can i get rid of the ""owner needs a collider or GUI Element to respond to mouse events!" errors" ?

Thanks a lot :-)

Hi Jean thanks for you answer !

Well I do agree that the new Unity UI Layout gives me all the features to provide a good layout setup no matter what resolutions.

I was thinking about " Set Screen Resolution " action because I can't get the 3:2 aspect ratio with the desired resolution in the final build.
Of course it's a Unity problem, but the " Set Screen Resolution " action could have been a work around ...

Could you tell me why the "Set Screen Resolution" action should be avoid ?

Playmaker Help / set screen resolution [SOLVED]

I'd like to know why the " Set Screen Resolution " action that can be found here :
isn't implemented in the 1.8.4 ?
Is it a bad idea to use it ? Is there a better / newer solution ?
I'm having a hard time getting a 3:2 resolution for my build and I was thinking about using it...
Thanks !

Hi dudebxl,
I'm trying you action that i'm very interested in.
It works fine when the .pdf is in  "my pictures" windows folder, but I can't have it work with the .pdf file in the Game Asset Folder. Sorry if it sounds dummy.
My setup is :
filename : temp.pdf; file path : temp.pdf; set path : streaming asset path
and the temp.pdf file in the Asset folder.

I've got the exact same problem with the 1.8.4.f5 version.
Is there a new workaround or solution ?
Thanks !

I'll share Project with you.

Yes the onMouseOver script works in the build on the same object.

Please let me add some information to my last post.

I've tested a VERY basic script based on "void OnMouseOver()" and it works in the build.
Unfortunately I don't have the skill to go further scripting  and have to rely on a Playmaker FSM.

Please help :-)

Hi, tanks for your answer Jean.

Yes I've tested :
  - removing all (other) colliders in the scene
  - removing all other objects in the scene
  - LOTS of other tests ...
  - updating playmaker to 1.8.3

The set up of 2 objects with the Mouseover problem isn't different.
I've also tried to create a new game object with a mouse-over event and
it's always ok in gameview and not ok in Standalone-PCBuild.

Don't know where to look anymore ...

Playmaker Help / Mouse Over doesn't work in Standalone Build
« on: November 30, 2016, 01:05:20 PM »
Hi, I start a new post as the last one about "mouse over" is quite old.

I use "Mouse Over" event on 5 Game-Objects (one FSM per GO). Everything works like a charm in the Unity Game-View. But in the Standalone-PC-Build it's not working anymore for 2/5 GO.
I've run hundred of test with no success so I'm quite desperate and need help.
Any clue ?
Is there an alternative to BuildIn MouseOver event ?
Thanks :-)

Playmaker Help / Lock FPS Controller Rotation
« on: September 01, 2016, 05:13:22 PM »
I am (still) looking for a way to have the Unity5 FPS-Controller rotate only when the mouse is down.
I used to control the sensitivity with an FSM : (sentitivity=0 when MouseUp), but I can't access Sensitivity anymore with the new FPS-Controller.
Any idea or turnaround to get this result ?
Thanks a lot
