Feature Requests / Action Browser in Playmaker Editor Window

I'd love to see the option of the Action Browser in the main Playmaker editor window.

Two panels usually not a big hassle, however as I build larger FSM logic I like to maximize the Editor Window with shift-space to see the whole system. Helps especially when Im working on a laptop.

The current workflow is to hit the action browser in bottom of the state tab. But then when I go back to the regular layout I have a random action browser floating around.

Playmaker Help / Array Maker Split String to Characters

Hey friends,

I'm attempting to split a string like "word" into individual characters and then add them into to an array maker array.

I'm looking at the split text, but this is really handy for lists of words that have clear dividers. How can you pull this off with a single long string?

Version 1.3 have been submitted to the asset store! This version will fix errors when importing this assets with Playmaker 1.8.1

I've found that if I have my custom actions in the unity project before I import playmaker, and run the update FSMs in build tool, they reconnect. If I import my custom actions after Playmaker, I get the missing actions error.

Updated to 1.8.1 and getting this error:

Missing Action: Could not Create Action (Maybe Script is Missing)

The actions aren't showing up in the action browser but are apart of the project and are causing no console errors on their own.

Any thoughts?

New version of Run N Gun that's compatible with the latest release of playmaker will be on the asset store shortly.

I've had several emails that detail 'missing action' errors. Working on a fix now!

Hey Zeldag!

Thanks so much for your comments! I really appreciate it. I'll defiantly look into the invisible type.

Some of the things that I've been thinking about is actually limiting the number of choices. Some of the comments I've been getting back is that its one kind of small to see, but too ten is a bit overwelhming as they still have to make two choices and the point of the app is to help you choose.

Something to add to this though might be a categorty chooser. Instead of just searching for food, I want to try my hand at attemtping a scrolling list for all the possible categories from yelp.

I'm super glad that you liked the app! I had a lot of fun making it :)

Hey Steve,

Hopefully I can provide some additional info!

These warnings will not affect your build process unless you use them. They are warning you that there is no longer the option to use fixed Angle on rigid bodies in Unity in Unity 5. It has since been replaced by a feature called 'Constraints'

When I work with the Playmaker 2D Package I simply delete these scripts as it affects settings that Unity no longer uses.

If you wish to use constraints on a rigidbody, I'd suggest the 'set property' action.
