Playmaker Help / UGUI Drag & Drap Sample Question

Hi,

I am trying to use UGUI drag and drop in my game. The example in our Ecosystem works great with the Canvas Render Mode set to be Screenspace -Overlay. However, I need to set it to be Screen Space - Camera or World Space. Is it possible to do that?

Once I drag the game object, the image would disappear and it shows up again when I drop it in the target spot. Can someone help me with it?

Hi,

I am trying to loop through and perform actions in an array list. Start Index is 0 and End Index is a variable in this case. How can I perform actions one time only for the index 0 item? If the Start Index is 0 and End Index is 0, it's doing an infinite loop. If the Start Index is 0 and End Index is 1, it performs actions on Index 0 and Index 1 items which I only want to perform actions on Index 1 item.

How should I achieve this?

Hi,

How can I create a button with non-rectangular shape? I am currently using UGUI Pointer Event Proxy with a Unity Plug-in called Alpha-Raycaster:

and it doesnt seem to work.

Is it possible to do without coding?

Playmaker Help / Float Compare to 0 ? [SOLVED]

Hi,

I am comparing a Variable A to 0 using Float Compare action. For some reason, all three events Equal, Less Than, Great Than got sent out. I even set a new float variable to be 0 and compare Variable A to the new float variable 0. It didn't work too.

How could that be possible? Anything I might did wrong?

Variable A: Subtract Variable B from Variable C

I tried to use SendEvent to two different event in the same state (one after another) and the program gets stuck. Was there anything wrong with my logic? How can I change it?

Hi,

If I have 5 items A,B,C,D,E. I want to move item A to B,C,D or E. (player's choice with mouse click) How can I do it?

So the player will mouse click on A first and then click on his choice of B,C,D or E. Item A will then move to B,C,D or E.

I know I can use Mouse Pick Event to click on item A, but how can I make item A move to B,C,D or E based on the player's choice?

Hi,

I am trying to create a movement system that is basically the same as Monopoly.

I created a route using several game objects (each game object represent one piece of land) and 2 game players (two game objects).

The followings are what I am trying to do:

1. Player A roll a dice (1~6) and use dice number for his movement.

2. Player B's turn: do the same thing.

3. back to Player A's turn.

What actions should I use to achieve these goals.

Can anyone help please?
