Playmaker Help / "Set Mouse Cursor" is broken in Unity 5

I already sent official bug report of this and Playmaker staff is looking into it.

I just wanted to know if there are people with this same problem, and if you have solution for it?

What happens is that cursor locking doesn't work anymore (Win, PC). Hiding does work but locking don't. It is the same in editor and in build. It makes my other bug testing quite difficult as I can't play the game bcause mouse cursor is always in the wrong place :D

User Showcase / My Summer Car (Win, PC)

Hi! I wanted to share a little (not really...) project that I've been developing for about an year. It is basically a very in-depth car fixing and tuning simulator. The game has emphasis in two different areas, one is the car building and the other is to experience the everlasting summer of a young person at the Finnish countryside.

You could say that in this game Street Rod meets Gone Home.

The game is entirely made with Playmaker as I have little or no knowledge about coding. Without PM I could not have ever been able to begin, or even think about project like this. So far, it has been smooth ride :)

Game is very complex, I haven't kept up with counts but it consists easily few hundred parallel FSM's with still very exceptional performance. It is a true statement for how powerful tool PM can be.

I am closing the final stages of the car simulation / build off, and after that I will move on to develop the environment and world around the player. Note that graphics are also very much in progress :)

Playmaker Help / WWWObject does not support GIF?

I know this is not exactly as PM question, but seems like WWWObject does not support fetching GIF's. Does anyone know if it is possible to make a converter between or has somebody any solution for this?

Playmaker Help / Set ALL values of Array List Proxy?[SOLVED]

Is there action to set ALL the 'Prefilled data' indexes at once of Playmaker Array List Proxy component?

I only find "Array List Set" action useful to set one index at the time, but I would have to set all the indexes at once to the same value.

I tried "Array List Clear" but it deletes everything including the indexes.

Playmaker Help / Making Playmaker built game moddable?

I believe this is quite enormous topic, but is there a theoretic possibility of making Unity game with PM moddable? I've read somewhere that Easy Save 2 has some file handling features, but I couldn't find anything more about that.

Just wanted to know if it is NOT possible, or is too difficult requiring a lot custom coding so I can ditch that idea.

Playmaker Help / Multiplayer minigame causes bad memory leak

After two days of experimenting, I was able to make two player multiplayer (IP based) game where we have dynamic physics object and it's position is correctly rendered for both players.

As a basis I used Playmaker official networking tutorial scene "4_SpawnPlayers".

However, we are running into trouble of getting massive memory leak which eventually crashes either server's or client's game. Or then it makes memory dumps that freezes the game for several seconds. Game process can take anything up to 3-4 gigabytes RAM before eventual crash.

How can I stop this happening? Lowering the data send rate only helps the game to run little bit longer until eventual crash, but of course there is also more lag.

We are syncing players vector3 positions, physic object vector3 position and a pair of global string variables. Whole setup is very simple.

Oh boy, any help is very welcomed...

Playmaker Help / "Create object" clones itself and not from prefab?

I came across very odd behavior, which I can't solve and can't understand if it is bug or feature.

In runtime I create object from prefab, then this object creates another copy of this object from the same prefab. However it clones itself, with all the changed properties and NOT the original prefab.

 :-\

*Well I sort of solved it by using specific object spawner prefab, which then creates this specific prefab. But would be still interesting to know why this happens.

Playmaker Help / Solutions for loading external audio and image files?

Is there a any way with Playmaker logic to load external mp3 or texture files? For example if player wants to play his own music through in-game radio. Or wants to use his own pictures for some textures.

Or is there suggestions for Asset Store packages, preferably with PM support?

Playmaker Help / Can't access hinge joints min/max limit properties?

I am trying to change (limits) min and max values of hinge joint, but I can't access those properties through using "Set property" action. Is there any workaround for this?

How I make a check if a Joint is connected to rigidbody? For example in a collision strong enough, a object breaks from its joint and I would like to get that information to my FSM?

Okay I must be complete noob for not figuring this out... But how do you allow player to type text or numbers and save it to a PM variable?
