Windows Store Apps Help / Cant build out to UWP.

Hi,
 Im trying to build out our one game to Windows Store and I have all the necessary SDKs and add-ons installed but when I try to build I get the following error:

Assets\PlayMaker Utils\PlayMakerUtils_FsmVar.cs(484,22): error CS1061: 'Type' does not contain a definition for 'BaseType' and no extension method 'BaseType' accepting a first argument of type 'Type' could be found (are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?)

Please any help or advice on the matter would be greatly appreciated.

Playmaker Help / [Xbox One] Playmaker Global Variables dont work.

Hi,

I upgraded to the latest supported Xbox One XDK (August 2016 QFE2) as well as the corresponding supported Unity version (5.5.0p1) but for some reason now none of my Playmaker Global Variables want to work, where it wasnt a problem at all with the previous XDK/Unity version.

Please any help or advice on the matter would be immensely appreciated, I will be posting a thread on the Unity Xbox One forums as well.

Hi,

We are busy developing for the Xbox One platform and we have followed all the steps in order to setup our dev kits and install the respective Xbox One Add-On for the version of Unity that we are using.

However, we seem to be receiving a namespace name error for FsmStateAction, Utility and Extentions for numerous Playmaker Actions when trying to build out to Xbox One, is there perhaps something that we need to include or declare in the Playmaker code in order to make it compatible with the Xbox One platform?

Action Requests / Reset Component

This would be extremely helpful with object that are being pooled and need to be reset to their original states before being used again.

Hope that this is doable though.

Action Requests / Get Animation Time

Hi, I am trying to find a "Get" version of the Set Animation Time action already present in playmaker, I thought it would be included already or requested on the forums already, but I cant seem to find anything.

It would realy help us in spawning projectiles for our first person controller at the right time and of the animation (without needing to rely on wait which can be a bit inaccurate or untrsutworthy when it comes to stuff needing to happen at an exact frame, especially if the game runs a bit slow on someone elses machine).

Please any help on the matter would be greatly appreciated and pretty sure there are a few other people on the forums that can find a use for the action as well.

EDIT: Also checked Get Property (dragging the animation component into the Get Property) but it just gives me access to the name of the animation clip and a few bool and speed values, but nothing on the current time of the playing animation).

Playmaker Help / Vectrosity Custom actions: Compiler errors on import.

Hi,

I seem to be getting compiler errors once importing the Vectrosity Playmaker Custom Actions stating:

Assets/PlayMaker Vectrosity/Includes/VectrosityProxy.cs(6,7): error CS0246: The type or namespace name `Vectrosity' could not be found. Are you missing a using directive or an assembly reference?

I have both Vectrosity and Playmaker in the project and as soon as I rmove the Custom actions the errors disappear and as soon as I iport them again the errors come right back.

I tried to search the Playmaker forums for this issue but there is only a post from 2012 where the error was on the "VectorLine" namespace and not the "Vectrosity" namespace and the root of the problem was a bug in Vectrosity that got fixed. So this must be something else/new.

Any help on this problem would be immensely appreciated. Thanks in advance.

Action Requests / Particle Playground Actions

Particle Playground is a very robust and extensive particle plugin that extends the Shuriken system, the amazing thing is you can achieve close to TC Particles' level of quality without needing DX11 (meaning your amazing particles are open to all platforms), plus Particle Playground has a few features TC Particles doesnt have. Couple this with an amazing particle pooling system for performance and you have yourself one amazing Particle plugin for unity for only $50 (almost half the price of TC Particles).

The only catch is a lot of the more advanced features requires scripting. Luckily they have predefined classes and variables for that purpose already in tact so custom Playmaker actions for Particle Playground shouldnt be too difficult to do.

Hope that the Playmaker staff or a forum member will be able to help us out on this somehow and in turn help out any future designers and artists working with Particle Playground.

Playmaker Help / FullScreen Movie Texture Playback using GuiTexture?

Hi,

Ive been struggling in getting this to work and from what Ive read this is the only alternative to doing a movie texture on a mesh plane, which I dont mind doing but I dont know how reliable it is on different resolutions.

If there is anyone that has figured out how to achieve this using playmaker, your help would be much appreciated.
