It will also make you create more errors from now on since you wont see them.

I had to turn this option back again and fix everything in order to properly work again.

Is a scene object on a variable, so there are no drags from the hierachy.
Also, this variable is get on the START using "Find game Object".

It shouldnt fail right?

So what about the original post question:

When changing a game object variable in the drop down list of the "Get Fsm String" (to select the game object to get from) is not being saved when you apply the prefab.

The are ways to solve that. The easiest one is to use the "Find Game Object" action and store the game object you want to drag into a variable and then use it. That way you wont lose the link never when using prefabs.

Yes, still, when using game objects variables (no drag) is not getting saved when you apply the prefab.

Drop Down menus in Actions (like to select a game object from the list) don't get saved when saving a prefab.

At least is happening with "Get Fsm String" Action. When changing the game object from the list, the change get not saved when you Apply the prefab.

What I do is I do all the finds I want from one game object (+50 objects at the moment) and then I just get them via get game object FSM when needed.

So I make sure I only find them once.

A big update I guess after a full year of hard work on this.
Game is playable and working already on the third level.

Yes, but if you swap my rewired get axis for yours should work the same.

I did a mouse look effect with controller here:

Its using rewired, but you can swap that action for a "get axis" from the mouse / controller

No, the get sprite from the ecosystem gets  the sprite.render component into a variable. The Game object I want the sprite variable from is a regular game object with 50 variables sprite types.

I need a GET from an fsm sprite variable to another fsm sprite variable

Like we do with Ints, floats etc etc
