Hi,

Crap... I am still unable to really understand why sometimes it doesn't want to work. I suspect either github or snipt online service goes down, but I haven't found a way to interfere in the queries to output errors.

It works as I tested now, so try again please.

else, all actions are either on Snipt or on github, here's the list:

https://snipt.net/search/?q=playmaker
https://github.com/jeanfabre/PlayMakerCustomActions_U4 ( covered U3 actions)
https://github.com/PlayMakerEcosystem/PlayMakerCustomActions_U5
https://github.com/jeanfabre/PlayMaker--Unity--UI

Bye,

Jean

Hi,
Maybe we should transfer the snipt actions to github as snips also has no sample pictures and see if the problem stil persist.

Hi,

ah, I could repro this, and I know where the problem is that time ( it's google analytics apparently). I'll try to fix it asap.

Ecosystem not working today.

However I'm not a complainer and I managed to figure out how to download and add the action I wanted from U4.

Thanks

Hi,

it's ok, please report ecosystem issues, it's important. Always try several times, after you paused for a minute or two.

Any solution for this yet? Starting today I'm getting "Json parsing error Object reference not set to an instance of an object"

I've tried closing Unity and retrying. Have tried over half an hour and still not getting it. Will look for actions online...but the ecosystem sure is helpful. :)

Hi,

:) yeah, cause indeed it wasn't working well at all, so I was on the case just now and found a way...

sorry about this. now I increased the timeout so the search may take longer but at least it won't throw an error.

I haven't been able to use ecosystem for 4 days.  I'm having the same issues.  Is there another way to access it?

-EDIT-  I found the github on the post above.  Thank you.

So this is strange.  If I want to use ecosystem now the only way I can do it is by creating a new project.  It will work for a day and then stop working.  So then I go make another new one and it instantly works.

Hi,

I am using it right now on the a very old project, and I don't experience this?

what doesn't work, do you get a log in the console or what does it show in the browser itself?

what version of Ecosystem and Unity and PlayMaker are you using?

So to start with everything works fine.  The Ecosystem works fine.  Then for no reason it just stops searching and/or browsing.  It doesn't give any errors it just does nothing.  But I can shut down Unity and go open a new project, import it and everything works like it should again.  So far this has happened three times.  I've noticed two strange things which may be related.  Sometimes an asset will randomly cause playmaker actions to vanish from the list.  Second, once when trying to import playmaker actions from github I ended up with two of every action.  This was on a project that had suddenly stopped working.

I am very confused by the whole thing.  It doesn't seem to be easily predictable.  And it is difficult to reproduce consistently.  I will try to keep an eye on what is happening.  I should note that all of this began with the JSON error.  I went several days before encountering it and now things are just haywire.

Hi,

what version of Unity? I have experienced a script totally disappearing yesterday, but I did create it myself, it wasn't linked to the use of the Ecosystem.

I'll keep an eye on this. The search time is definitly longer since the fix for the last json error, it's because it takes more times to query the github Server now, for no obvious reasons... so I had to increase the timeout, this is maybe what makes it feels less snappy.
