GPS marker needs update

I use the action ' project location to map' This works fine when using a GUItexture but when using a Canvas with a texture it does not work anymore. seems like it only has legacy support.

the GUI texture has limitations, it's not possible to have interaction with other objects, thats why i like to use a canvas
