Making a Score counter
« on: June 16, 2016, 06:09:36 PM »
i was following this tutorial but i encountered 2 problems

the first problem was at around 8 and a half minutes, i want my enemy to be a prefab so i can instantiate him, so i cant use any game objects that exist only in the scene relating the enemy.. i think i solved this by putting the game objects in the scene into a variable.

the bigger problem was that unity no longer has the gui system shown in the video, how do i work with the current system? if someone has a tutorial that would be fantastic, im having a lot of trouble with this..

i also have a more general question, i know that in programing there is a key principle where you use classes that inherent from each other, how does that come to play when programing with playmaker?

sorry for my bad english and thank you all for reading and trying to help! this plug-in is just awesome im having so much fun with it

hey with the first problem, i believe you are using the same work around that i do, storing the objects in a variable.

and as for your second bigger problem, if you are talking about ugui there are a couple videos showing how to use the proxy and you will want to use the packages available for it
