Does using PlayMaker increase processing time in a game?
« on: September 04, 2016, 06:31:47 AM »
I've developed a mobile game with the scope of Crossy Roads purely using PlayMaker.

Then my team recreated the exact same game with the same assets but through only using C#.

From what we've noticed, the C# version of the game took 3 seconds to load while the PM version took almost a minute.

I'd love to have an in-depth explanation as to why this happens apart from just saying that more states take more time to process.

That doesn't sound right... What version of Playmaker are you using? Are you profiling in the editor or a build?

If you send me a download link to the project (privately, not a public link) I can take a look...
