When you say integrate with FB, twitter etc. do you mean sharing scores/screenshots? It can be a lot of things, we once spent a lot of time creating a invite system where you could invite your friends to play, but nobody did because the game didn't do very well.
My suggestion is, if you are new to creating games, just make a simple fun game, without worrying too much about monetization or social media integration. Because that's a whole other level, and it takes a lot of effort to understand and do well.
If I where you I would just make a cool game, and have ads running in between, if it becomes very successful you could focus on making it work with facebook etc. But it's not worth spending months on making facebook invites work if nobody plays your game anyway.
