Install playMaker manually for every project? [SOLVED]
« on: December 20, 2017, 01:51:57 PM »
Hi everybody,

playMaker is my first extension for Unity so maybe my following "problem" is normal.

For my understanding, when I install playMaker it is implemented in Unity and I can use it in every project. I've installed playMaker, but when I start a new project playMaker ist not in the toolbar, so I need to install it again.

Is that a normal way for extensions in Unity or do I have problems with my installation?

Unity: 2017.3.0f3 Personal (64bit)
playMaker: Unity2017.1.PlayMaker.1.8.5.f8.p1

Thanks for your feedback and best regards

Florian

When you create a new project in the Unity window, beside the 2/3D selection there is an add asset package button. You can select the packages to install at that time.

Thanks

Hi,

yeah, your Unity project is always empty when new, you then import everything you need form the asset store or various sources.

 bye,

 Jean
