Changing scene loses controls

Hi all, am I missing something, I've got my tunnel fsm to switch scenes, but once the scene has changed the controls no longer work.  I am using unity 2018 and the corgi engine. Is there something else I need to set up? I am using on enter trigger 2D, and Load Scene, thanks for any help!

Do you have a "multiple cameras" error?
And are you using a playmaker movement system? or a standard asset.
I have a game with mazes, one of my earlier problems involved the same thing when I went to a different maze. Turns out the joystick lost track of the object it was supposed to move. I think I fixed it by setting up a global to always be the object that the joysticks were affecting.

Hey VeryBinary, thanks for the tips, I'm using Corgi's control system, but I reckon you're right and I need to set up some kind of global to stop the joystick losing the player object. I'll give that a go, thanks again! :)
