Entry fields in actions grayed out - but still usable?[SOLVED]

I've had this going for about a month now - in the various data fields of actions I put on a state, the fields are grayed out, like they aren't accessible / available - but when I click on them, I can use them / access them / enter variables, etc. See what it looks like here https://imgur.com/a/qY5O9Ia Anyway - its merely annoying - hasn't affected workflow or performance, just visually irritating.

Check that you don't have Dim Unused Parameters checked in the State Inspector Settings Menu.
