Audio Triggers[SOLVED]
« on: November 21, 2012, 09:50:01 PM »
I'm new to Playmaker and somewhat to Unity and LOVING it. I'm coming off of using Gamesalad for 2 years so I appreciate what Huton has done to make the process smoother. My skills reside as an interactive graphic designer for over 12 years now so my fortè isn't programming.

With that said! I've checked out some of the great tutorials on YT including the Triggers tutorial, but can't seem to set up an audio trigger correclty.

For experimentation, I simply have a ball rolling, and when it hits a square (car), play a sound otherwise don't play a sound :)

I have the cube/car as a trigger on the box collider and the audio source. The sound does play..in fact it will play right away when i start the scene!

My screenshots are attached.

Cheers!,
Shane

Hi,

Have you unchecked "Auto play on awake" on the audio source behavior?

also, I would recommand you try the action "Play sound", it may be easier for you to set everything up.

you can find an example in PlayMaker samples, "Heartbeat"

bye,

 Jean
