What's different between Audio Play and Sound Play
« on: February 21, 2014, 03:02:53 AM »

Hi,

Since I have studied Playmaker about audio actions,
I got a question about Audio Play and Sound Play.

I know that the difference is that if with Audio Source component.
But for what reason or situation we may not use Audio Source component to play a sound or audio?
or is there any design idea in back??

Thanks for answering this kind of basic question. :-)

Play Sound is used to quickly play a one off sound with very little control over the settings.

Audio Play plays a sound that has been configured in an Audio Source component on a GameObject. This gives you a lot more control over the sound settings...

That's it really :)
