Dummy Seperater
« on: May 29, 2014, 09:18:46 PM »
In the playmaker state pane, I'd like to be able to add a dummy event.  This would do nothing.  It would be used as a seperater from several events above and below.  I have a clock and 2 scores on this state.  I'd like to be able to put a dummy event after the clock events and after the 1st score events.  Then I'd like to be able to write text on it so indicate what this dummy header is.  and finally, it'd be nice to color code it with the events after it.  So if the dummy header is green, then all of the events after it will be green and all of their links will be green.  Then the next dummy header is blue and all of the events below it are blue and their links too.

See what I'm saying?

Hi,

I am not entirely sure if you are in the fsm view or in the event browser.

Usually, I create events in a structured way using "/" Like:

 "GAME / QUIT"
 "GAME / RESTART"

and then it's really much better organized in menus and encapsulated.

Is this related to what you ware trying to achieve?

bye,

 Jean

Set up fsm
create state
click on state tab
click on action browser
Now select dummy seperater
go back to state tab.
There should be a dummy item there.  That way you can separate stuff.

Hi,

ok, I am with you now, the action is called "Comment".

You can obsviously leave it empty if it's just foruse as a separator, or put a comment in it as well to explain the situation.

 Bye,
