Move Towards, unable to define target
« on: November 20, 2014, 06:03:33 PM »
See the picturebelow.

I want to emit a prefab bullet from the gun and have it move towards the GameObject, "GoToShotDefault".I can not drag a GameObject into the 'target Object' box where it says "None (GameObject)". I know it can be done because I've seen it on youtube. I only get a drop down menu asking me to set or get a property. (In fact, I get this menu all the time with other things too, and it prevents me from doing a lot).

I don't know why that arrow points there either...

But any advice on how I can drag my gameObject into that box as easily as folks do it on youtube would be greatly appreciated.
Also does anyone know why I get that menu asking to get or set a property?

Thanks,

James

when you drag in a object into a state it will ask this and you can then get or set anything on that object (position, color, material, etc.)

what action are you using?
did you try to drag / drop on a different action?
