Hi all,
last week i upgraded my project to unity 5.2. When i played my scene a lot of the audio tracks where changed to 3D audio.
Seems like they changed the workflow and it's hard to change this back to 2D audio.
You can't edit the audio settings anymore in the track self, only audio source has options to change this.
The ' Play random audio' works with "one shot audio" that means it's not editable in the editor, when i play the scene the ' one shot audio' appears, but i can not change the values.
Any idea how to get my origional setttings back?

Hi,
i have not updated to 5.2 yet,
but on 5.1 you can change it on the "audio source" component.
Look for spatial blend

Hi there, same issue this weekend after upgrading Unity, all my UI sounds can no longer be heard as they're now 3D sounds being spawned somewhere else. Sorry I can't offer any help, just wanted to confirm same problem.

Hi,
Confirmed on 5.2.
find the Audio Source Component and change the Spatial Blend to 2D.

This works different, there is no audio source when not playing the scene. any idea how to solve this ?

Hi,
I made an action for 2d use
I tested it and seems to work, can you test it and confirm if it works so i can add it to the EcoSystem :)
I am still thinking if i would set a volume for each Clip or 1 for all...

Sweet, I'll give it a go this afternoon and let you know.
Thank you!

Hi,
i uploaded a wrong version, please download again if you have downloaded it.

Hi djaydino,
Tried to use this action today but my problem differs from insiderrr's. I'm in need of a replacement for Play Sound which forces to 2D and doesn't require an audio source component but thanks for providing this, I'm sure i'll find use for it!
Cheers
