Hi,

Alex is very keen on AI integration, but I am not sure if it's cooking or not.

Tho, one real strong warning: doing AI with rain{one} is very difficult it seems, so are you positive on this, I mean have you worked with rain{one } already?

It's certainly possible to integration it to playmaker, what would you like to see accessible in playmaker?

bye,

 Jean

rainone seemed nice for me but i read bad comments for it. statemachine is a fundamental for ai but it requires some additional feature like path finding. i should start learning and using ai with playmaker and a pathfinder. so is there any playmaker integrated pathfinder?  :)

hi,

If you have unity pro, you can get the pathfinding set of actions for the built in system, else what framework would you like to see supported?

thanks for this info. i have pro.

i havent examined any ai/pathfinder product.even one product is the best, i prefer playmaker integrated one. so i am looking pm integrated first. it looks that i can manage ai side by using state machine.

Hi,

the integration of pathfinding in playmaker is very solid, so this will not be a problem. As for AI, indeed playmaker is perfectly suited for this. Now it depends of course the level of complexity required, that when high will likely require the help of some scripting or third party ai framework.

i have unity pro version but sometimes to learn something i have to work with basic edition on my different machines. so i prefer version independent solution on development/learning phase. i can pay for $50 for a good solution. so initially i will examine path finder platforms. it is hard to determine if a product good or bad if it has not trial version. i would be happy if people says their opinions about what they use with playmaker.
