So, I've recently run into an extremely severe problem. Whenever I use Playmaker's Restart Level action, or try to load a level that has previously been loaded with the Load Level action, Unity freezes completely. This happens both within the editor, and in a build. There are no error messages or logs, it just locks up until forcibly closed.
Also, if I load to another scene, then back into the previous, it simply refuses to load. The current scene seems to flicker as well, as if it was restarting itself.
I'm using Unity version 5.0.1f1, with Playmaker version 1.7.8.3.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated, as it is holding up my project quite a bit.
EDIT: As it turns out, it seems that I was actually on an older version of Unity after all. Which is strange, since my About info said 5.0.1, when it was actually 5.0.0. I'm updating now, to see if it fixes this issue.
