GEOJOY is a game about joy and relationships with others who see things in a different light, learning how to play together for the win.
Like all games in ggj14 it was made in 48h. Even if I was a good enough programmer to do this without playmaker, there's no way I could have done it so fast.
So yea, just wanted to say thanks (again) and leave you with my little game. Maybe I'll take this and make it into an actual real game. What do you think?

Hi,
Very impressive. DEFINITLY SHOULD BE PUBLISHED.
you know you are touching on AI stuff and how simple entities can actually end up doing unpredictable behaviors. Typically the jumping ability is a very clever trick and what happens actually in nature that we think is "intelligence", it's just that as an individual, you will never be able to jump higher than your own abilities. And even without controlling or mimicing behavior, it will happen that two entities will jump on one another just off probabilities and eratic/random behaviors.
bye,
Jean

The aesthetics are fantastic! I would definitely play this. How many people were involved in making it?

Looks nice, I get the feeling from watching the video, that being able to rotate the camera would be a nice addition (could be wrong)

Wow, that actually looks and sounds pretty fun and relaxing! I'm impressed for a 48h game thats really cool.
Looks like there was so many good little prototypes that came out of this jam, but the site is just saturated with them and its a lot to sift through.

@jean Yea! it's only the second time I focused on AI and my favorite thing right now is just observing them interact with me or each other and setting up scenarios like taking all my blue buddies and try to get as many yellows running away from us as possible or setting up massive fights between the oranges and the purple ones. It's a really simple (I'll post a screenshot of it when I can) AI system but having that dynamic aspect to it and see things I didn't expect was one of my goals and it was really cool to see it sometimes gain a life of it's own!
@Graham Thanks man. It was just me (design, playmaker magic) and an artist.
@LampRabbit You could be right. :)
@Lane Thanks. And yea, I've seen some pretty cool games come out of this jam. The fact there are so many does make it hard to find them.
