Set sun with trigger
« on: August 27, 2020, 01:56:22 PM »
Hello everybody! This is my first post and and I'm totally new to Playmaker.

I started today and wanted to set a new rotation of the sun. My little script actually does that, but not my set rotation. Am I doing something wrong?

Hi.
What do you have in the touched state.

do you get any errors in the console.

it might be a infinite loop

I have set it to on Trigger Enter. The thing is, my light color and intensity changes to the thing I want. It is just, the rotation of the directional light doesn't fit.

On the start I thought that everything worked, because I set the light to these values. But no, no matter what I do now, it doesn't change anything. I already thought if there is a cache or something from Playmaker...

Hi.
Maybe the rotation is manipulated somewhere else?

For testing can you make a object and target that object to rotate
and see if that works.

if that works, try setting the light as a child on that object (the object can be empty btw)

Hey, I managed to fix it, via the hamburger menu of the axis. Then it worked all fine.

Thanks!
