Hi all, I wonder how do I make it possible to tap/click on the page to turn the pages.
Thank you!

Thanks for the sample. It work fine but how to I apply it to a 'book'?
Thanks again!

Hi Jean
I manage to flip the book with almost the same setup except I change the property to 'bookalpha'. But however I can manage to flip on one side only. When I do for the other side, it doesn't start flipping from the current position, but rather start from the end.
Btw, from your example, you have an animation in it which isn't really necessary rite? I manage to get it done without the animation.
Hope to hear from you soon. Thanks.

Hi,
what do you mean by flip? fliping is really, physically turning the page, so there is indeed an animation, if you jsut animate the alpha, you merely show a different page, but you don't really need megafiers for this...
each page is it's own gameobject, so you need to have this behavior on each page basically.

Hi Jean,
I think you missed the Megafiers 'MegaBook' part. What you did was just one pages, but theres one with a complete book which, when you change the value of ' Book alpha' it will turn the pages of the book.
Perhaps you can watch this tutorial from MegaFiers at youtube:
Just go to the 6:55 minutes mark, then probably its more clearer.
Thanks again.

Hi,
ok, yes I see now. I though you only wanted to turn one page. I did not know about the alpha! d'oh
then I am not too sure what you mean by animation, because the pages are animated really, and moving alpha up and down works here isn't it? so if you contorl this alpha using set property, you are good to go.

Hi Jean, it works but not to what I want. Currently it will turn all the pages at once, but I was looking for turning 1 pages at a time. Not sure if there is an easier way to work with it rather than do it one pages at a time.
Thanks.

Hi,
one page at a time is the sample I provided. I don't see another way, it's either you turn one page or you turn pages of a book via that alpha value.

Well, I think I need to turn one page at a time then. But I have a last question. Once I got the page flip to right, how do I get it to turn back to left? I get rid of the MouseUp from your sample, cause its not really feasible in my case. I tried to create another gameobject to reverse or turn it back to '0', but it not working.
Thanks.

any pointer on this? really appreciate it.

Hi,
yes, I think you are missing the fact that the collider of the page doesn't move with the page, check this when you have the page fully turned, select the page gameobject in the scene and look where the collider is, so clicking only works within the collider volume basically.
can you confirm you have this too?

Jean

Watching this with interest. I'm doing something similar.
