Title: Keeping global variables tidy
Post by: smiffy on June 06, 2012, 06:31:05 PM
Is there a way of being able to sort/tidy the global variables list with drop down menus?

Cheers,
Matt

+1 for making globals and events alphabetically sortable.

Hi,

I would even enjoy that, too. And I think we should also be able to organize them by type, or even group them by author defined groups, and it we could have that as well in Fsm variable browser, that would be cool too.

Bye,

 Jean

I agree, I have about a hundred globals in my current game, and getting larger all the time. Very time-consuming to find the right one.

Well if I had a wish list it would be

Creating nesting folders.
Drag and drop vars and folders.
Ability to add descriptions.
Different sorting methods, name, type, most used etc.
Add multiple tags to filter results.

As it is my Global Var list is getting pretty long now and its time consuming having to wade through them to find the one I want.

Fingers crossed:)
