Title: photon duplicate ID error
Post by: Ofonna on March 13, 2017, 04:37:20 PM
hi guys,
i just started out with photon yesterday so please forgive my question. but i've done everything and when it comes to instantiating my prefab i get these 2 errors

* PhotonView ID duplicate found: 2001. New: View (0)2001 on Cube(Clone) old: View (0)2001 on Cube . Maybe one wasn't destroyed on scene load?! Check for 'DontDestroyOnLoad'. Destroying old entry, adding new. playmaker

* Destroying assets is not permitted to avoid data loss.

thanks for your help.

Hi,

dealing with Photon Prefab is done in a very special way, you are not allowed to instantiate it or destroy it like that, it has rules .

Are you studying the demo provided? have you read the related documentation? it's very important before starting anything with Photon.

 Bye,

 Jean
