Title: Detecting layer of drawed line

Hey,
im drawing a line with a gameobject on a plane, but cant detect the layer of the
drawed line. the linerenderer is attached to the gameobject that is drawing.

how can i detect layer of the line?

 what technic do you use to draw the line itself?
