Title: Can't get TextmeshPro to work ?

Whenever I add a Text (TMP) component to a GameObject I get the following attached error:

Thereafter I am unable to execute any TMP actions etc.

Appreciate any advice on getting this up and running, thanks

Hi.
There are 2 types of tmp, one is for ui (inside canvas).
You will find the same action with 'ugui' included.

OK, found it but can't select it, how do I get the license/access ??

I can't check this box inside Text Mesh Pro 2020 on the Ecosystem import screen ?

Hi.

it means they are already in your project and have no changes on it.

but maybe you can use these tmp actions :

OK, I tried importing again and then got a ton of critical errors in the Console. (attached)

I assume it could be a clash between the TMP in the project and the TMP2022 ?

I tried running the GUID remapping option in the TMP Window, but no difference.

Maybe I should uninstall TMP and then install TMP 2022 ?

How do I uninstall TMP, notin Package Manager nor option in TMP window ?

Appreciate the assistance

Hi.
The errors indicate duplicates.

you can delete the files / folders to 'uninstall'
