Title: Running Trail Ghost Behind

Hi All looking for any tips and or tricks to get my character to have the effect demonstrated here as he runs.

I have played around with trail renderer but I couldn't get the desired effect. Does anyone have any tips or suggestions on how to get this trail as you run?

I don't see any trails, do you mean duplicating the player and have one instance following?

Hi,

 ok, that would be very much like duplicating your model, match animations, and have them following the main player. I don't think it would be easy to make it as particles, without some major work on texturing.

I think you should contact the author of the 2d framework you are using to see if he has a trick within his framework to make this easy ( for example, getting the texture from the player mesh directly and such).
