Do you have the latest version of Playmaker? Main Menu > PlayMaker > About..
It should say 1.7.4.
If you have the latest version and still have this problem, please submit a bug report: Main Menu > PlayMaker > Tools > Submit Bug Report
This will give us extra system/unity info to work with...
-
yes i have the latest version, i i did report the bug last week but havent heard from anyone yet. thanks
-
Do you have a bug number?
-
case # 563313
-
Hmmm, that bug# doesn't exist in our database (and is far too large a number!)
Maybe you used the Unity bug reporter instead of the Playmaker one...?
-
LOL Im sorry yes i did. i will send playmaker one.
-
case 813 for playmaker

I now have the same problem. I can still add events though, but I cant rename state's. as soon as I type something the state gets deselected and only 1 or 2 characters are given to the name.
Has there been a solution to fix this?

Generally the cause is another tool not playing nice with Unity callbacks or keyboard focus. Some past causes have been Particle Playground (fixed in an update) and NGUI UIStretch component... What other editor tools are you using in your project?
-
I'm using energy bar toolkit, DF-GUI and behavior designer in my project.
Edit: I just removed all energy bar toolkit items from the scene and the problem is gone. I'm gonna try adding step by step to pinpoint the bug and send it to the energy bar toolkit support.
Thanks!

The energy bar toolkit support has fixed the problem for me by adjusting one of the scripts.
