Title: Anim Curves: Type In Values?
Post by: kiko on October 13, 2013, 02:38:45 PM
For anim curves, is there a way to type in numerical values?

For example, I have an Animate Float Action, and I would like the first key to be at exactly (0,500). Is there any way to type in this value? If not thru the UI, perhaps somewhere in the backend?

Thank you!

I agree, we need something where you can input the absolute values on the graph actions. I particularly find it annoying when working with large numbers and have to drag the point to the top many times because the zoom is automatic and the numbers start very low which means you are only moving one digit at a time, then two, then four.. It can take a while to get up to where you want.

That would be resolved if you could click a point, right click and set the value or something.

Hi,

That's also beyond me.. I just can't see why it's not there... Maybe we are missing a trick or something.

bye,

Lane; yes exactly. Maya has a pretty simple solution as well: two boxes to input x and y coordinates. If you select multiple keys, and then type in a value, then all selected keys get that value.

Is there an official feature request I can send to the developer?
