Ive been looking around for a quick tutorial on how to get a ugui working with playmaker. Haven't found it.
So I created a button. I wanted to use it with playmaker. How do I do that? I'm sure someone wrote something about it.
thanks.

Download the actions from this thread and that will get you started http://hutonggames.com/playmakerforum/index.php?topic=8452.0
For button clicking you would use the Button Event action I think it is called

I got it to work. The ugui elements you mention are not in the ecosystem. You have to manually input the .cs asset. these should be included. Once imported I got them to work just like old button. As far as the other way with the prefab, I got that to work as well. the video instructions were not that good, so I watched them 50 times. Thanks for your alls help.

Hi,
Sorry for my french accent :) I know it's not ideal for screencasts...
-- what do you mean by .cs and input? do you mean importing packages?
-- what is not clear in video once you got it working? maybe I can adjust it to lift the confusion?

Well jean, you really don't explain it that well. I could understand you barely so that is not a problem. It is more that you just did the stuff but did not explain how to do it. It was too quick. I had to watch it 10 times but I finally got it.
Now, the action 'uGUI button event' is buggy. I've been messing with it all day and it seems to randomly fire events. See my other message. Would love to get it to work.

Hi,
What other message? Can you reference it?
I have been watching this again and again, I can't really see how I can explain it otherwise.
At what point do you start having trouble?
What is buggy? can you explain your problem, are you getting an error, are getting confused with a particular concept or section?
Can you do a screencast showing where you are and what you don't understand?then I'll be able to better answer and solve your issue.

Jean

Hi,
ok, I now start to understand where your confusion comes from. I replied on the related thread.
