Title: Rounding Floats to user defined ranges

Is there any existing way to round a float to a user defined number? So rather then using the absolutes of whole numbers, I could say, round to the nearest .5 or 1 in the nearest direction?

Nevermind, think I found a different way to approach this with some success.
