Title: issue with triggers an tags?[Solved]

im using a trigger  on my melee weapons so that when they collide with the player tag they will deal damage now im having a issue here triggers dont seem to pick up the player tag at all no matter how big of the trigger i make it wont pick it up is this  a bug or should i switch to raycasting?

nvm im a idiot  an had my collider unchecked
