Title: Profiler Help (maybe ArrayMaker)[SOLVED]
Post by: Splankton on June 15, 2015, 12:44:22 PM
Hi, Im getting "LogStringToConsole" spikes in the profiler.  In the console I get :-

0 7
UnityEngine.Debug:Log(Object)
PlayMakerUtils_Extensions:IndexOf(ArrayList, Object, Int32, Int32) (at Assets/PlayMaker Utils/Extensions/PlayMakerUtils_extensions.cs:23)
PlayMakerUtils_Extensions:IndexOf(ArrayList, Object) (at Assets/PlayMaker Utils/Extensions/PlayMakerUtils_extensions.cs:11)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Actions.ArrayListIndexOf:DoArrayListIndexOf() (at Assets/PlayMaker ArrayMaker/Actions/ArrayList/ArrayListIndexOf.cs:98)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Actions.ArrayListIndexOf:OnEnter() (at Assets/PlayMaker ArrayMaker/Actions/ArrayList/ArrayListIndexOf.cs:80)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.FsmState:ActivateActions(Int32)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.FsmState:OnEnter()
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:EnterState(FsmState)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:SwitchState(FsmState)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:UpdateStateChanges()
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:UpdateState(FsmState)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:Update()
PlayMakerFSM:Update()

then

hello
UnityEngine.Debug:Log(Object)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Actions.ArrayListIndexOf:DoArrayListIndexOf() (at Assets/PlayMaker ArrayMaker/Actions/ArrayList/ArrayListIndexOf.cs:97)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Actions.ArrayListIndexOf:OnEnter() (at Assets/PlayMaker ArrayMaker/Actions/ArrayList/ArrayListIndexOf.cs:80)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.FsmState:ActivateActions(Int32)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.FsmState:OnEnter()
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:EnterState(FsmState)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:SwitchState(FsmState)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:UpdateStateChanges()
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:UpdateState(FsmState)
HutongGames.PlayMaker.Fsm:Update()
PlayMakerFSM:Update()

I cant find what is logging that to the console, but it looks like it could be something to do with ArrayMaker, as I get them everytime I call the Arrays.
Can Jean, or someone help why I'm getting this?
Thanks!

Hi,

 oups, forgot to remove some debug logs it seems :)

 when you get this kind of logs, simply double click on them, it will open Monodevelop and comment out the line or delete the line.

 but I'll push today a cleaned up version.

 Bye,

 Jean

Hi,

 The update is up on the Ecosystem (https://hutonggames.fogbugz.com/default.asp?W1181), Let me know how it goes. you should not have any unecessary logs anymore.

 Bye,

 Jean
