Title: Possible to mix imported legacy animation with iTween?
Post by: indeed on September 27, 2015, 07:18:32 PM
Hi, is it possible to mix an imported FBX Legacy animation with an iTween behavior? For example, imagine you have imported a series of cubes moving on a path made in a 3D app. Is it possible to use iTween Punch Rotation/Position to add to that imported motion?

The reason I'm curious is this becomes a powerful workflow in combination with something like Cinema 4D. I want to be able to import a complex baked animation of transforms (something like cubes flocking like birds) using Legacy FBX import, but then add interactivity on top (when you click on a cube, it transforms in a certain way, a local transform adding to the baked motion).

Hi,
that should work, but i advice you to use DOTween (http://hutonggames.com/playmakerforum/index.php?topic=8262.0) and not itween

hi,

dotween: http://hutonggames.com/playmakerforum/index.php?topic=10303.0

I made them.. the actions are +/-85 to 95% complete for most tasks. read the above link for the bugs etc.. and if it's simple tweening then go for it or use LeanTween (another good one).

I am not fully agreeing with rik on this one  :P
