Title: Stans Assets Ultimate Mobile
Post by: Pete Tattersall on November 15, 2016, 12:40:19 PM
Has anyone successfully used Ultimate Mobile from Stan's Assets to include IAP on iOS, using only Playmaker Actions. If so could you please explain what you did to achieve this. Iv'e been backing and forwarding with their support via email for almost a month now, and i'm no closer to getting it working. Thanks in advance for any help.

ProductsRequest returns Invalid Product id.

I don't think it is a problem with playmaker as such. I'm really clutching at straws posting my problem here, but I have followed Stan's Assets instructions to no avail. The instructions, I find, are a little confusing, so I was wondering if anyone here had had the same problem and found a way of fixing it. Maybe Iv'e got the settings wrong or something as simple as that. I don't know.

Hi,

yep, not related to Playmaker but on how you've setup your store. You are likely ( like the rest of us) getting confused the first few times betweens the various Ids, references and what not...

Instructions can not be anything else than confusing when you dive into IAP :) so don't give up, go back to square one, ready as much doc on the store you are taregting, and triple check everything, again and again....

Thanks for that, are there any parts of the store that are typically misunderstood by newbies like myself and we should watch out for?

Hi,

yes, all of it... :) I am not joking... We all went through that, so don't worry, it's not just you.

the best way is to go for a specific store, pick android for example, and make it work just for that store, ask question only related to that store, get the right vocabulary and technical words, learn them, until you are able to explain the process to someone else with the right words ( ID, productId, uuid, whateverID, and what not).

Read as much doc, and also, don't hesitate calling on an expert and pay him the 1 hour it will take for him to get you through the process via a screen sharing session. Weight the cost of that against the wasted time and it's cost...
