Does the student version of Playmaker comes with less features?
Is there any difference with the full price version?

No difference - The lower price is just an incentive for academic institutions and students to learn and use Playmaker, which inevitably lead to more sales.

Hi,

 there is a difference, the student version will not let you use custom actions, only the actions provided with PlayMaker asset.

There are a couple of different student versions. There's a free student version that you can generally only get with online courses. That version doesn't let you use custom actions. The educational version is discounted and is fully functional, but has a non-commercial license. So you'll need to upgrade if you start using Playmaker commercially.
